Happy New Year people!
We seem to be entering a brand new 2025 whilst feeling like 2024 didn’t include enough time to be truly finished! We must all be getting old!
I’m not a huge believer in big bold New Year’s resolutions but I do believe it’s healthy to have measurable and obtainable goals. They offer something to work towards, to achieve. So, in that spirit, we think a triathlon offers people who want to get fit(ter) a wonderful goal to work towards. It encourages you to get out of the house; to improve across multiple sports; to get those endorphins flowing so you start to feel great again after one too many mince pies or pieces of Dairy Milk (maybe?)
If you fancy committing to that sort of goal and putting some skin in the game, get on over to our race entry page and get your name down. It’s quick, easy and cheap (compared to other similar distance races). It won’t take you longer than 5 minutes to get yourself signed up.
The training might take a bit longer—but that’s why you all fancy it, right? Yes, we love goals, but the achievement is in the process, in the hard work, and in how we feel as we strive towards the big day(s) on the 7th and 8th of June.
